Stiftung Villa Musica

Villa Musica is a hallmark of high-level promotion in chamber music, worldwide. The foundation's name ensures the highest quality: since 1986, it has been supporting outstanding young musicians year-round through additional training in chamber music. This training is the content of the Villa Musica scholarship.

Scholars selected in the audition will be invited to chamber music projects at Engers Castle for three years. In the castle they will meet, in a week of intense rehearsals, luminaries of chamber music - professors, soloists from all over the world. As part of the five-day rehearsal, a concert program is professionally developed and then performed at various concerts in Rhineland-Palatinate.
